It's Daylight Savings Time... time to get your liquid sunshine on!
As we approach the Fall Daylight Savings Time I am reminded to reach into the back of my medicine cabinet and get out my Vitamin D. This vitamin is critical for many processes in the body and according to research, 40% of Canadians are deficient in this key vitamin during the winter months (1). I usually suggest asking for your Vitamin D levels to be checked with a routine blood test. Since Vitamin D is a fatty vitamin, it is stored in your body and you can take too much. The
