Through osteopathy, she adopts a holistic and preventative approach by rebalancing the body, freeing up musculoskeletal, visceral and cranial restrictions/blockages felt, to bring back the body to its optimal functioning, stimulate its inner self-healing abilities, and relieve pain, stress and discomfort. Osteopathy is a manual therapy using generally gentle but effective techniques. Some examples of techniques used are craniosacral therapy, visceral therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage.
Examples of conditions treated include: neck, pelvic and back pain, post-concussion disorder, headaches/migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, joint pain, postural imbalances, sciatica, dysmenorrhea, thoracic outlet syndrome, whiplash, scoliosis, common ailments of pregnant women and office workers, stress management, among several others. She also has a special interest and experience in women’s health (including prenatal and postpartum care). She loves empowering, helping and supporting women prior, during and after their pregnancies.
She is an avid learner and passionate about holistic and natural health and wellness, integrative and preventive medicine, and sharing this knowledge with people. She also believes in mind-body medicine, and aims to help and empower people to take charge of their health and be proactive in their healing journey and personal well-being, so they can live their best lives.
During her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching documentaries about health and wellness, spending time with her husband and toddlers in nature, hiking, biking, fishing, and exploring new places. She is fully bilingual and also speaks basic Spanish and Polish.
